The Indiana Tech women’s golf team punched their ticket to the NAIA National Championships in Lincoln, Neb. with their first-place finish at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
The 19th-ranked Indiana Tech women’s golf team currently leads the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament after carding a first round 323 on Monday at the Coyote Creek Golf Course.
Indiana Tech garnered five Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference athlete of the week awards the conference announced on Monday. The Warriors also had an athlete earn Player of the Month in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
The 19th-ranked Indiana Tech women’s golf team carded a 36-hole team record, 613 (300-313) en route to winning their seventh event of the season, taking the Millikin University Spring Classic at Hickory Point Golf Club on Saturday.
