As part of its Tech Talks series, Indiana Tech will be hosting The Apathy Effect exhibit in its Snyder Academic Center Multi-Flex Theater from April 3-5. The Multi-Flex Theater will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on those day.

The Apathy Effect exhibit immerses visitors in stories of resilient young survivors of human trafficking from around the world. The multimedia exhibit and empowerment program will ignite empathy and educate and empower participants with a response to issues of exploitation. The experience is told through original film, photography and artifacts with self-guided or interactive tours adding to the experience.

The Tech Talks series is a collaboration between Indiana Tech’s College of Arts and Sciences (formerly the College of General Studies) and its Office of Student Affairs. The purpose of Tech Talks is to promote active awareness about important issues of social justice around the globe. This year’s focus is human trafficking.
