Indiana Tech is Transitioning to Canvas
Indiana Tech currently uses Blackboard as its learning management system but it will transition to Canvas in January 2024. Canvas is recognized for its ease of use, flexibility and mobile capabilities. It is used by more than 3,000 universities, school districts and institutions around the world and is the leading choice among Indiana Tech’s peer institutions.

When Will it Happen
For Ph.D. Students: You will begin using Canvas when Session 3 starts on January 8
For 8-week Graduate Students: You will begin using Canvas when Session 3 starts on January 15
For Traditional Students: You will begin using Canvas when the spring semester starts on January 17
For Adult/Online Students: You will begin using Canvas when Session 5 starts on January 29
