Admission Requirements
Admissions decisions for the PhD program are based on the following:
- Completion of the Indiana Tech Doctoral Application.
- Official transcripts from the colleges or universities at which you earned your master’s degree(s).
- Electronic transcripts can be uploaded during the application process.
- Electronic transcripts can also be sent directly from the awarding university via official means. In this case, please have them delivered to maeltaleb@indianatech.edu.
- Paper transcripts should be sent to:
Indiana Tech, ATTN: DBA Program, 1600 E. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46803
- You must submit an original essay (use of Generative AI prohibited) of between 600-1000 words that addresses the following:
- Discuss your position and role within your organization. How do you envision a DBA will assist with professional growth?
- What do you think will be areas of strength and areas of challenge as you enter the program?
- Thinking of your areas of challenge, what support network do you have and do you need to be successful in the program?
- Describe one or two areas of interest in an organization that could potentially be used to develop your final project.
- A current résumé (or curriculum vitae)
- An interview conducted by a DBA faculty member.
Once all of your materials have been received, the Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule an admissions interview with a faculty member via Microsoft Teams.
Upon completion of the interview, all applicant materials will be forwarded to the admissions committee for a final review. Applicants are typically informed of an admissions decision within 72 hours of their interview.
