Biggs becomes Indiana Tech’s all-time winningest women’s basketball coach
November 27, 2024Coach Jessie Biggs became Indiana Tech’s all-time winningest women’s basketball coach after the Warriors 92-61 win over the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines inside the Schaefer Center on Tuesday evening. Biggs, now in her 13th season as coach of the Warriors, has a career record of 302-101, surpassing Gary Cobb, who coached from 1989 to 2004 and amassed a record of 301-242.
Biggs, who also has served as Indiana Tech’s director of athletics since 2020, has led the Warriors to a remarkable 199-48 record in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play and has earned Coach of the Year honors from the conference seven times.
