After-School Programs
As part of the Indiana Tech’s STEAM Academy’s ongoing efforts to reach the students in our community we partner with local schools and student serving organizations to offer off-site programs. These programs will be taking place in various locations each semester.

The Girls Tech Takeover is a 8-week after-school club for middle school ladies where they will explore and learn about technology, coding and new gadgets. Girls will learn new skills, build community and grow their confidence in computer science through hands-on exploration.
This program is under development. However, when formally launched, intro to robotic workshops will include the use of basic robotic kits to introduce Fort Wayne elementary school students to the world of robotics.

Indiana Tech offers an on going program partnership with STARBASE Indiana-Fort Wayne, fall 2023 and spring 2024 for Jefferson Middle School students. Students get to work with robots on various platforms, learn critical problem solving skills and CAD design.
