Care Closet
At times, college students may encounter barriers to getting access to necessities. Barriers could be financial, transportation, or societal, among other reasons. The Care Closet aims to reduce those barriers and provide students access to essential hygiene products on campus. Students can take the products they need entirely free and without questions.
Rec Center
This Care Closet is located in the Rec Center in Andorfer Commons, next to the vending machines.
Care Closet’s Impact
“I think it’s awesome tech has this, it is super nice because when I run out and can’t afford to go to the store and buy it I can come get it from there and not be embarrassed or scared because it’s put in a good spot that has low traffic.”

Want to donate to the Care Closet?
If you’d like to donate items to the Care Closet, please ensure they are new, unopened products. Donations can be coordinated through Jozy Garrison at JAGarrison@indianatech.edu, purchased via the Amazon Wishlist, or dropped off in Andorfer Commons, Student Affairs Suite, Room 156.
